Information We Collect

We collect personal information you provide to us directly, and a limited amount of technical information automatically when you visit the site.

Information you give us

• Contact form submissions — When you fill out a form on our site (general contact, building audit request, or any inquiry form), we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message. For building audit requests, we also collect your building name, location, and approximate unit count.
• Product orders — When you purchase an HF Diverter through our online checkout (powered by Stripe), we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email, phone number, and the custom door measurements you provide so we can fabricate your product. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
• Phone or email correspondence — When you call (954) 560-3015 or email HFDiverter@gmail.com, we keep records of the conversation as needed to follow up, complete an order, or honor a warranty.

Information we collect automatically

• Basic web logs — Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, timestamp) collected by our web host for security and operational purposes.
• Analytics — We may use website analytics services (such as Google Analytics or similar tools) to understand how visitors find and use the site. These services may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data. See Cookies & Tracking below for more detail.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for these specific purposes:

• To fulfill orders — Process payments through Stripe, fabricate your custom diverter to the measurements you provide, and ship it to your address.
• To respond to inquiries — Answer questions, schedule building audits, provide quotes, and follow up on requests.
• To honor our warranty — Maintain order records so we can verify warranty coverage and resolve any issues for the duration of the warranty period.
• To improve our site — Analyze traffic patterns and visitor behavior in aggregate so we can improve content and user experience.
• To comply with the law — Maintain records required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with marketing partners. We do not use your data to send unsolicited promotional emails.

Who We Share Information With

We share your information only with the small number of service providers we need to operate the business:

• Stripe — Processes payments for online orders. Stripe collects and stores payment card information directly under their own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
• Email and form providers — We use standard email services (such as Google Workspace / Gmail) and may use form-handling services (such as JotForm or similar) to receive and respond to your inquiries. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
• Shipping carriers — When you order a product, we share your name and shipping address with the carrier (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) so they can deliver your package.
• Analytics providers — If we use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), they may receive anonymized data about your visit. See Cookies & Tracking.
• Legal disclosures — We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Cookies & Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for two purposes:

• Essential cookies — Needed for the site to function (for example, to keep you logged in if you have an account, or to remember items in a checkout flow).
• Analytics cookies — If we use analytics services, they may set cookies to track aggregate usage patterns. These help us understand which pages are most useful to visitors.

• Order and warranty records — We retain order information for at least the duration of the warranty period (1 year from delivery) plus any time required by tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years).
• Contact form submissions — Retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, plus a reasonable follow-up period.
• Email correspondence — Retained as part of our regular business records.
• Web analytics data — Retained according to the analytics provider’s standard retention period (usually anonymized after a set period).

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal obligations to retain certain records, such as completed orders).
• Opt out of marketing — We don’t currently send marketing emails, but if we begin to, every email will include a one-click unsubscribe.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data submitted through our website
• Payment processing handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-compliant)
• Limited access to customer information — only people who need it to fulfill orders or respond to inquiries

That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by law.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at HFDiverter@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices change or as required by law. When we update it, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted prominently on the site. Your continued use of the site after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
